What is spiritual abuse? How did we find ourselves in the midst of it? How do we expose it and help others through it?
While these questions will be answered, the real question we will answer is how we encounter the Lord in the midst of painful experiences.
Until we are rooted in our beloved identity and intimacy with Him, we cannot function healthily in life. This is why the mandate from the Lord stands: expose the abuse, find God in the midst of the pain and become firmly rooted in our identity in Him. Out of that identity will come forgiveness, compassion, and intimacy with God the Father.
